Organization settings is the admin home for your workspace: members, integrations, and billing in one place. It’s available to org admins from the sidebar and the user menu.
The settings tabs
Settings is organized into tabs:
- General holds the Members card — invitations, roles, and pending invites. See Inviting your team.
- Integrations is where you connect Slack, code hosts, trackers, and your own LLM key. See Slack, GitHub and GitLab, Trackers, and Bring your own LLM key.
- Billing shows your plan, usage against its limits, and the link to manage payment.
How pricing works
SmartRetro is priced per active team — an active (non-archived) team is the unit that counts toward your plan. There are four tiers: Free, Team, Pro / Continuous, and Enterprise. Higher tiers raise the limits (active teams, members, history retention) and unlock features like the fuller retro templates and AI summaries. The current limits and prices are on the pricing page.
Because pricing is per active team, archiving a team frees a slot: an archived team keeps all its history but no longer counts toward your cap or your bill. Reactivating it takes a slot again. See Teams and scope.
Limits and upgrade prompts
Plan limits are enforced where you’d hit them, not hidden. Invite past your member limit and the invitation is refused with a message to upgrade first. Create past your active-team limit and the New Team button reads Limit Reached. Create past your monthly retro limit and the option is disabled with an explanation. Nothing is silently dropped — you always get told why and what to do.
Managing payment
Billing runs on Stripe. From the Billing tab you can start or change a subscription and reach the customer portal to update payment details or see invoices. A subscription that lapses degrades the workspace to Free rather than locking you out — your data stays put.
During beta
SmartRetro is in a closed beta, so your plan is whatever we set up when you got access; self-serve upgrades open as the beta widens. Questions about your plan can go through the in-app Send feedback → I have a question option.
